Eligibility
Is EDTEF right for you?
The scholarship is for strong students moving from JSS3 into SS1 whose families find school fees a real barrier. Your story and potential matter as much as your results.

What we look for
Four things matter most
Strong results
A strong record through junior secondary school, including your junior WAEC or mock junior WAEC results.
Results matter, but they are not the whole picture.
Financial need
Families for whom school fees are a real barrier to the student completing senior secondary school.
Your circumstances should never limit your potential.
Character and drive
Students who are disciplined, curious and committed to their education and to the people around them.
We value character as much as grades.
Commitment to excellence
Readiness to maintain an average of at least 70% and share term results with EDTEF every term.
The scholarship is kept the way it is earned.
