The Empower Dreams Through Education Foundation awards full-tuition scholarships so that talented students can finish senior secondary school at their best.
Our story
Potential exists everywhere, but opportunity does not.
Across Nigeria we meet capable, motivated students with strong results and big dreams. Too often, school fees decide whether they finish secondary school with the grades their ability deserves.
EDTEF exists to close that gap. We award full-tuition scholarships for senior secondary school, from SS1 to SS3, and stay close to every scholar so they keep performing at their best.
The scholarship is earned and kept on merit. Scholars maintain an average of at least 70% and share their results every term, and we stay close to them and their families so they can do their best from SS1 to SS3.

How we work
More than a scholarship service
Full tuition, not a top-up
Our scholarship covers tuition in full for all three years of senior secondary school.
Fair, careful selection
Every application is reviewed on results, need and character by people who understand students' realities.
We stay involved
We follow every scholar's progress term by term and step in early when support is needed.
Zero cost to families
Our work is funded by partners, grants and donors. Never by students or their families.
